UTEE PENDANT TUTORIAL

I aquí tenim el segon tutorial de la Cuchy penjat al blog de la Julie Fei. En ell ens mostra una nova técnica per fer un segon penjoll.

Y aquí tenemos el segundo tutorial que Cuchy subió en el blog de Julie Fei. En él nos muestra una nueva técnica para hacer un segundo colgante.

UTEE Pendant Tutorial
Materials:
Memory Glass (2)
Memory Frame
Black UTEE
detailed rubber stamps
Versamark/Perfect Medium
Perfect Pearls
scraps of paper
StazOn
bulldog clip
dangles, beads or charms
Glimmer Mist (I used iridescent gold)
Distress Ink
glue
scissors
brush
heat gun

Instructions:
ONE: Apply Versamark on the edges of one of the Memory Glass pieces and apply a layer of UTEE.
With a heat gun, melt the UTEE powders. Apply a second layer of UTEE and melt it again.

TWO: Apply versamark to the rubber stamp and set aside.
THREE: Re-heat the UTEE and once melted, press your rubber stamp firmly into the UTEE until it dries. 10-20 seconds.

Lift the stamp and see the texture. If you do not like how it looks, just re-heat the powders and start again.

FOUR: Ink another stamp with StazOn (it has to be an ink that works on porous surfaces) and stamp it on the back of the glass (opposite side of the UTEE).

FIVE: Place your Memory Glass onto a patterned paper scrap. You will need two pieces of patterned paper. One will show through the glass and one will be the back of the pendant.
Cut out the pieces of paper. Ink the edges with Distress Ink. Glue the two pieces of paper back to back.

SIX: Spray some Glimmer Mist on the papers. Set aside to dry.

SEVEN: Apply Perfect Medium or Versamark over the stamped UTEE.

Take a pinch of Perfect Pearls and apply it over the UTEE for a bit of shine.

EIGHT: Make a sandwich with the Memory Glass and the glued papers (decorated Memory Glass - glued papers - plain Memory Glass). Insert the sandwich into the frame. Close the frame and see how it looks.

Use some beads and charms to create a dangle.

Put the bulldog clip on the top and add a ribbon if you want a pendant. You can also pin it on your jacket for a brooch...
...or using more festives papers, hang it on your tree for an ornament. You can see below another pendant using the same UTEE technique but covering the whole Memory Glass.
